In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 26, 2020 №-4901 “On measures to expand the scope of scientific research on the development of the cultivation and processing of medicinal plants, the establishment of their seed production”, 4 scientific research laboratories have been established within the RPC, which are structural divisions of the Center.

The staffing levels of the laboratories are approved by order of the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change. Currently, by order of the Minister No. 268, the positions of the head and senior research worker are allocated for each laboratory. The laboratories are subordinate to the Deputy Director General for Science and Innovation in accordance with the structure of the state institution of the Scientific and Production Center for Cultivation and Processing of Medicinal Plants.

In its activities, the Laboratory adheres to the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decrees, resolutions and orders of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, resolutions and orders of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change and the Forestry Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Charter of the Center and the Laboratory, and other regulatory documents.
